Sue Polansky
SUE POLANSKY
began officiating in the early 1980’s . She was a runner but admittedly she said - not a very good one. Being a terrible athlete, she found a way to be part of the sport that she has always loved……and that was through officiating and meet management.
She began at the high school level and with the encouragement of Dick Ferziger and Joe Caruso, She started to come to the MAC meets and was usually at the finish line. There she said met some incredible people who helped foster her love of the sport and develop some skills to held contribute to the meets. People like Marvin, Warren Ring, Pat & Helio Rico, and Tracy Sudlan.
She holds a Masters Level Certification as an official
She was selected to officiate at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and has officiated at countless Olympic Trials and USATF National Championships at all levels - Youth, Masters, and elite
She has officiated at many NCAA Championships
But what is GREAT about Sue is that she know here talents are needed locally and has worked hundreds if not thousands of local USATF Association meets, State High School Championships, road Races including the Long Island and NYC marathons.
