Lauren Primerano Inducted Into Manhattan College Athletics Hall of Fame

USATF New York proudly congratulates Lauren Primerano, President of USATF New York, on her induction into the Manhattan University Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony took place on Saturday (8-Nov), recognizing her outstanding achievements as a student-athlete and her continued impact on the sport.

Primerano, a standout javelin thrower for the Jaspers, remains one of the most accomplished throwers in program history. During her career at Manhattan, she earned multiple conference titles, set program records, and established herself as a national-caliber competitor. Her excellence carried beyond college, where she went on to compete in the 2004 Olympic Trials and became a respected leader within the sport.

Today, as President of USATF New York, Primerano brings that same dedication, passion, and athlete-first mindset to the association’s mission. Her Hall of Fame induction not only celebrates her remarkable competitive legacy but also highlights the continued influence she has on shaping the future of track & field in the region.
