Boschen siblings earn top-four finishes
In the next to last race of the day Rose Coats (Prospect Park Youth Running), who declined a spot at the Champs Sports High School Nationals in San Diego to compete with her teammates in Texas, finished second in the 17-18 girls race running 18:05. She led her team to a second place team finish as they actually tied with their Region 1 rivals New England Elite but lost on the tie-breaker (5th runner finish). Both teams scored 45 points. Backing up Coats as the team scorers were Bella Stenhouse, Maxine Paul-Emile, Linden Cafcules, and Baila Ashe.
