Kutch 13th; Gregoire 20th at USA 5 km Championships in Central Park

Results

On Saturday (6-Nov) four members of USATF New York competed in the 2021 USATF 5 km Championships. The championships were held as part of the Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K with the finish line in Central Park.

In the men's race, Central Park TC - Tracksmith teammates Ryan Kutch, 23, and Ben Harper, 23, finished 13th and 24th, respectively. Kutch ran 14:04 while Harper stopped the clock at 14:41. The race winner was Andrew Hunter of Colorado in a time of 13:53.

In the women's race Brooklyn TC teammates Erin Gregoire, 24, (16:27) and Henna Rustami, 26, (16:47) finished 20th and 22nd, respectively. The race was won by Weini Kelati of Virginia in 15:18.
