Can you describe what your daily responsibilities have been over the past 2-3 months and how they differ from before the pandemic?
My main job is for a homecare company, but during the COVID pandemic I worked at Maimonides ICU to help out . It was a bit overwhelming as all patients at ICU were COVID positive and many were dying. Regardless- I was happy to be of help during such difficult time.
Have you been able to continue to train at your normal level?
I am committed to the sport and I continued training. I would plan so that my easy runs would be on the days that I worked at the hospital and I would do them before or after work.
When did you start running?
I started running about 5-6 yrs ago
How did you get your start in the sport?
It was by pure chance. My kids joined a track team and I started running with them.
Favorite place to race?
For indoor races I like Boston University track as well as The Armory in NYC. Outdoor I like Icahn stadium and Princeton.
What are your future racing goals?
I take it one day at a time, but I’ve been very happy with my current progress and I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life!
