St. Jean Wins Three Titles at Masters Outdoor Championships in Alabama

Results

The 2025 USATF Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Sunday (20-July) at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville, Alabama. A total of 1,192 athletes from all 50 states competed in the four-day national championship.

USATF New York was represented by 19 athletes who delivered outstanding performances throughout the meet. The New York athletes brought home seven national titles and made 19 total trips to the awards podium, earning medals for top-three finishes.

Athletes from Central Park Track Club – Tracksmith and the broader New York contingent delivered standout performances. Jennifer St. Jean (W50-54) led the team with an impressive three national titles in the 400m, 800m, and 1500m, complemented by three national-class age-graded marks, including an 86.34% in the 1500m. Allison Murphy (W50-54) achieved the highest age-graded score of the group—a world-class 92.28% in her gold-medal-winning 80m hurdles performance. Lisa Edwards (W45-49) also stood out, winning the pentathlon and collecting four total medals across multiple events. Judy Stobbe (W60-64) earned gold in the 800m and silver in the 1500m, posting world-class age-graded scores of 89.35% and 86.23%, respectively. Rebekah Kennedy added three silver medals in distance events, highlighted by an 81.01% age-graded 1500m.

  • Donald Landry (M70-74 400m)
  • Lisa Daley (W55-59 200m)
  • Lisa Edwards (W45-49 400m & High Jump)
  • Tomomi Seki (W65-69 100m)

Age-Graded National Class Performances (80–89%)

Athletes achieving age-graded scores over 80% are considered national class performers. New Yorkers reached this mark 8 times in Huntsville, with Allison Murphy's 92.28% in the 80m hurdles going one step further with 90%+ world-class performance.
