ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Individuals: Current USATF membership is required to compete. Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license, or U.S. government identification) is required and must be submitted prior to registration and participation.
Teams: Only registered USATF member clubs may enter a team. All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with that club as part of their USATF membership. To enter a team, a club must complete the team entry/declaration process during online registrations. Only athletes listed on the team declaration roster will be eligible to represent the club at the Association, Regional or National championships.
 
TEAM SCORING:
8 athletes on the team entry/declaration form may be declared as scoring athletes. The top 5 finishers among the declared runners will score.
 
COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS:
All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition, chest-high on the front of their jerseys. Bib numbers will be distributed to coaches at the USATF tent near finish line area

EVENT RESULTS:
During competition, event results will be posted at the registration tent near the finish line. In addition, event results will be posted at Newyork.usatf.org

AWARDS:
USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top ten individuals in each age division. The top boys and girls team in each division will receive team trophies.
 
ADVANCEMENTS:
Top 30 individuals and top 5 teams in each age division will advance to the USATF Region 1 Championships to be held on November 23, 2014 in Maine (Cony High School - Augusta, Maine). All advancements/entry for the USATF Region 1 Championships must be completed, paid for, and submitted online. 

The National Championships will be held on Saturday, December 13th at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, SC. The top 30 athletes and 5 teams at the Region 1 Championships will qualify for the National Championships. Information is available here.


ENTRY FEES,  DEADLINES, PAYMENTS:
On-Time Registration: Must be completed by November 5, 2014 11:59pm
Individual Entries: $10.00 per athlete (no additional fee to enter teams)

ENTRY FORM & PAYMENT:
The online entry system accepts all credit cards, however USATF prefers VISA.  Only online entries will be accepted (no paper entries)

Note: an athlete's proof of birth must be previously submitted and included as part of their USATF member profile in order to be able to submit an entry for this competition.  Please ensure that the membership chair has received (via mail or e-mail) a copy of the athlete’s Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license or U.S. government identification). See Rule 300.1 (i) for further explanation.

Driving: Take the Major Deegan Expressway to Exit 11 (Van Cortlandt Park South) OR the Henry Hudson Parkway to Exit 23 (Broadway).
